Inspirational Videos

Although most of Kaleb's videos are him ranting on about Justin Bieber or twilight, music videos, and vlogs about Tuna Helper and Canada, he also manages to maintain a spontaneous inspirational reputation that gives wannabe-writers (like myself) the needed boost to get going. Here are some of the videos Matt and I watch when we are having trouble to sit down and write our books.

On Finishing a Book Part 1:

Kaleb stated that Part 2 will be out soon... ten months ago. In a way this video hits me, Jackson, as a realization that, although a book can be quite ridiculous, time-wasting, and horrifying to write, it's worth it in the end.

First Copies Of My Book! [Bran Hambric]:

I've only ever watched this video once, which is a surprise considering I have a lot of time on my hands, because it is truly the most inspirational video I've ever watched. I don't know if Kaleb's intention of it was to be inspirational, but it was about that time I was losing confidence in my stories and considering going into another profession when I found this video and watched it, and that's when I knew that I was supposed to be a writer.

How to Write a Book.................14 Days To Bran:

Every time I'm focused on something else but I need to write I get on my iPad and flip this baby on. It has yet failed to not inspire me.

So, this page summed up to be much more of a journal entry/personal blog post, but these videos do give aspired young wanna-be authors the inspiration they need to push through their novel.

  1. Absolutely. These are great (I'm a writer too, an apiring novelist). There's a playlist of his on Youtube.com about his journey to becoming a published author when he first got his book deal for Bran Hambric: The Farfield Curse. I love watching the videos in that playlist, so inspiring.

And "How to Write a Book"; I watch it almost every time before I write. So awesome.
