Where has the Time Gone?

Sorry we've been gone for so long, all of you 8 to 10 people out there.

Well, this should be a relatively short post. Just dropping in to say we're sorry for another giant absence. We're sorry, sorry, so-o-o-o-o sorry. Anyway, if you hadn't heard before, you're hearing it right now: KALEB NATION IS GETTING HIS OWN TV SHOW.

It's appropriately titled "Kaleb's Nation", and they've already got a bunch of people signed on for it. It's going to feature him as an author, him as a regular person, etc., etc. But, I think it would be cooler for Chilla to get her own TV show as well. No?

So, yeah. We've also got a new video up on YouTube, so go check it out!

Somewhat "News" on BH3

So, there's a few things I, Matt, picked up in a video on YouTube. The video was about a Kaleb Nation signing for THE SPECTER KEY. When asked about Book 3 in the Bran Hambric series, he answered: 

"I do know what it's going to be called, but I won't say. I know everything that's going to happen; I've got about 90 pages of outlining. There's going to be a lot more crime and lot more explosions - I love explosions. Book 3 takes on a much darker tone than the other books. There are clues in the first two books  about exactly why gnomes and mages aren't allowed inside the City of Dunce; there's a much darker reason behind it. Book 3 is the shift in the series." 

And that's pretty much everything we've picked up on Book 3. Like we said earlier, though, we have no idea what the progress status is.

GIANT ABSENCE

Yes, Matt and I have been gone for a while if you can't tell. And if anyone of you hop on BlogTV during one of Kaleb's chats you'll probably hear my name mentioned Jackson (Jjporter) almost every episode. We try and make it to those. We are still faithful.

Well, I just finally finished The Specter Key (Bran Hambric 2) not that it was slow or anything but I tend to read around 40 books at once, and I sat down one night and just finished it and I loved it. I'll have a video up on that probably today sometime, by the end of this week for sure.

Well, Matt and I, or at least I will get back to blogging/vlogging http://www.youtube.com/thenationeers like, every other day maybe, or whenever Kaleb has something to post about.

I should be goin' down to Texas in a few weeks and I think I'll drop by and give Matt a visit. (Haven't met before, kinda creepy.) ANYWAY... not much update on Bran, when I asked Kaleb he said it's "still being worked on." And as far as we know "still being worked on" could mean anything from "I've typed the title of the book in the document" or "I've got like, 200 words left."

I dunno - Kaleb, you should tell us. Do a vlog dedicated to TheNationeers....blog, no, I'm kidding, that'd be embarrassing, just do a vlog dedicated to the BranFans and talk about the third, we'd all like that.

Since you're probably ripping your toenails off by the end of this post, I think I'm gonna go.

A few weekends ago on BlogTV, Kaleb stated that Jackson and I should make a YouTube account for the blog. I guess we'll be doing pretty much the same thing we do here as on the new YouTube account, which you can view HERE.

Secret Project

Kaleb has been working on a secret project for awhile now. He wrote it last year in a month. Six months later when he went to re-read it, he realized that it was "abysmal". So he re-wrote it, and now he has found an agent for it, and her name is Elana Roth. We're waiting to hear the title and release date for this "secret project".

We're also waiting to hear something about the third book in the Bran Hambric series. It is presumably done by now, since he was done with THE SPECTER KEY about last January, and the release date for that was in October. Book 3's release date is assumed to be November 11, 2011. 11/11/11.

More To Come

Unfortunately, the only videos Kaleb has posted lately are 60SR (60 second rants/reviews/recaps), where Kaleb just rants, reviews, and recaps people/celebrities/things/movies. We do like the 60SRs, but we will probably post again once we hear something about Bran Hambric 3, which is currently untitled, but does have a(n) [expected] release date.

Good news: Kaleb commented on the first post, which makes this an official fan site. No, I don't think that anything says that a fan site isn't a fan site until the celebrity the fan site is based off of comments/reviews the fan site. Just go with it. You know what I mean.

Also, we don't yet know what Book 3 of the Bran Hambric series is about. We're sure Kaleb will post something about it soon, as this is around the time last year that he posted about news on THE SPECTER KEY, Book 2 of the Bran Hambric series.

This blog is dedicated to the young, highly talented author Kaleb Nation. To learn more about him check www.kalebnation.com

There will be more to come because frankly this is in the editing process.

But, just to give you a little background, Kaleb is the author of the Bran Hambric series, which will consist six books. This young man thought of the idea of Bran Hambric on the night of March 3, 2003 (3/3/03). The first book, THE FARFIELD CURSE, released on 9/9/09. The second book, THE SPECTER KEY, released 10/10/10. We are expecting Book 3 (title unknown) to come out 11/11/11.

My name is Matt Hayes, and I converted Jackson to "Nationism". We are both avid followers of Lord Nation. We're trying to spread the word about Bran Hambric, and pretty much just get Kaleb to talk to us.

Jackson and I are both authors, and Kaleb inspires us both to write more. Though his vlogs/videos keep us up into the night, away from writing.

In addition to writing, Kaleb is a frequent vlogger, and was a former radio host. He currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his beloved computer and his chinchilla (named Chilla, respectively).

We're trying to get THE SPECTER KEY's cover as the background to this blog. In the meantime, just enjoy the blog as it is. As and if this blog grows we will be holding contests and giveaways, so check back often.
